SIELE Preparation Course

The instructors and location were great. The instructors were very good at answering questions and explaining grammar and syntax.

The only thing that could be improved was that the level of class I was in was not challenging enough. The classes could be improved by having more verbal quizzing and verbal repetition. Speaking is the most difficult for me and I would have appreciated more practice even though it is the most difficult.

Classes are good. Teachers are nice. Location is perfect. Everything is decent and nice. But it became more and more expensive ...

They have a great community of people with a variety of spaces to learn and interact with others in. The patio area they have is beautiful. The administrative staff are also super helpful in hearing out your needs. They are also good at assessing levels in my opinion. Made more than a few good friends.

I really enjoyed Expanish. What I liked the most was the social aspect of the school.
I found the experience really easy to navigate, and appreciated the free tours. This was also a great way to meet people and introduce everyone to the city and Argentine culture/history.

I also really liked my host family, Coca and Jose Ponce. I was really taken care of, ate well and Coca even went above and beyond by doing my laundry for me. I mentioned this in my first evaluation, but Coca is a heavy smoker. I didn't bother me because I smoke, but this should definitely be mentioned to others who would stay with them.

I also said this to Violeta in a focus group, but the tours should be bilingual. There are so many of us who are beginners and can't understand an all Spanish tour. If people don't understand what's going on they'll stop signing up for activities. Maria Belen and Martin both attempted to use English, or speak slowly so that everyone could understand and I thoroughly appreciate this.

My biggest suggestion for Expanish is to allow students to choose their own classes because all of us signed up for different reasons. I wanted to escape a Canadian winter for 5 weeks. I chose to go to the school to meet people and give my days some structure. While some of my classmates were serious about becoming bilingual, that was not me.
My second week I was skipped two levels into Sandra's class. I didn't find her very encouraging, and she gave hours of homework every night. It was actually quite ridiculous. I don't think it's necessary to push students into higher levels, constantly changing teachers and classes. I think it would be worth it ask people what their goals are to better guide their experience.

5 star School with amazing, energetic and knowledgeable teachers. The syllabus is worked out well although I would have wanted a little bit more English in between just for me to understand the grammer principles better. The building is comfortable set-up and everybody feels like they belong in this big family. The school is easy to reach by public transport should you need to use it. I have opted for home stay walking distance from class which was an affordable option with a homely feel with a lovely lady. They have free guided outings to some areas where you can learn about the city and mingle with the other students all while learning more Spanish. I will highly recommend it. Although I did only a beginners class for one week and cannot expect to be fluent, I can see I have learned much more than I initially thought now that the knowledge is sinking in. I am planning to keep learning with this good base they gave me.

The school is modern and offers a great environment to study. The classes are small and the level of each student is well assest. The teacher are motivated and good in teaching. The location is right in the center, easy to reach by subte and bus. Several activities were offered and gave a chance to get to know people and some more of the culture.

Expanish is located in the center of the city, just a few blocks from La Casa Rosada. The facility is beautiful and the staff is so nice and helpful. Once placed in a course, we received notebooks and pens, as well as the custom workbooks that Expanish makes.

My teacher, Liliana, was the best part of my experience there. She was so warm and understanding, and helped to make sure that we were all learning. She was funny, and got us all speaking in Spanish with her and each other about the things that interested us, while pushing us to use the new grammar and vocabulary we were learning.

I loved my experience with Expanish and would definitely use them in the future to improve my Spanish while traveling.

Ich hatte bei Expanish über einen Zeitraum von drei Monaten jeweils 4 Stunden Sprachkurs pro Tag.
Ohne jegliche Vorkenntnisse konnte ich mich nach dieser Zeit breits gut ausdrücken und war bestens vorbereitet für meine anschließende Reise durch Argentinien.
Die Lehrer sind alle super jung und sympathisch, die Atmosphäre ist wirklich super. Hinzu kommt die zentrale Lage mitten im Microcentro und die schönen Räumlichkeiten.
Ich empfehle diese Schule jedem wärmstens.

I had stayed at Expanish over a period of three months, each with 4 hours of language lesson per day .
Without any prior knowledge I could broadly express myself by this time well and was well prepared for my subsequent trip through Argentina .
The teachers are super young and personable, the atmosphere is really great. In addition, the central location is in the Microcentro with beautiful premises .
I recommend this school to anyone.

I had the opportunity to follow a course of three months in Expanish school last May, an experience I'm not ready to forget. The school is very well situated, just two minutes away from a metro station at the center of the micro center of Buenos Aires, lined with restaurants and symbolic places (not least that the Casa Rosada). The school has internet and computers with free access, given courses are high quality, alternating oral and written practice for a complete language learning.
Each week the school offers activities to be performed outside of school, with teachers, for a deepening of the language in practical life and cultural enrichment. If you also want to organize your own activities, the school will be happy to help!
Regarding accommodation, I decided to stay with host families to enrich my cultural experience and apply my knowledge acquired during the course. My family was adorable, took pleasure in making me discover their culture!
In short, a school that was able to meet all my expectations and which I can only recommend!

Teachers are great, really helpful and try to show you how's life in Argentina. The school is well situated, in the center of BA, in a great refurnished building.
There were a lot of social activities organized by the school.
I really liked the teachers and the staff who is always here to help you out and welcoming you with a big smile.

The classes at Expanish were amazing. Learning so much in such a little time, with such detail is not something you get very often! Everyone at Expanish is so friendly and the teachers are so helpful as well as the rest of the staff. Its location is perfect, in the very heart of the capital and close to some of the main transportation links that run all the way through the city!
